     Chef Mary Ellen Rae fine-tuned her recipe testing experience during her four years at the Los Angeles Times Test Kitchen, preparing, testing and editing recipes for publication in the Wednesday Food Section.  She’s written numerous articles and won several “Top Ten Recipe Awards” for recipes she created for the food section.

 

Prior to working at the Los Angeles Times, Mary Ellen started “Personal Touch Gourmet” a catering company specializing in small intimate dinner parties for her clients.  The company continues to expand by offering private and group cooking classes and personal chef services.

 

Mary Ellen graduated with top honors from the “Le Cordon Bleu” program of the California School of Culinary Arts.

 

     Chef Mary Ellen is available for:

 

Recipe testing and development on a freelance or contract basis.

Cooking classes in the privacy of your own home for individuals or groups.
